
Larry Isom plants a sugar maple at Boulder Beach in an area where several large ash trees recently were removed. Donations to Friends of Lake Panorama for new trees that surpassed the original fundraising goals made it possible to plant this tree and four additional nursery trees at Boulder Beach.

Larry Isom with Isom Tree Farm plants a sugar maple along Panorama Road, which is the main west entrance to Lake Panorama. Recent donations made it possible to plant five sugar maples using a tree spade in this area, plus another nine nursery trees.

This photo shows the tree spade after it has been disengaged from the ground and recently planted sugar maple along Panorama Road. Isom Tree farms used this equipment to plant five sugar maples in this area.

This sugar maple was planted March 30 near the southwest corner of the sports court at Sunset Beach. This was the first of seven sugar maples Larry Isom transplanted from his family’s tree farm to locations at Lake Panorama.

Larry Isom plants an autumn blaze maple at Boulder Beach on a rainy day in late April. He planted 15 nursery trees over two days, with four at Boulder Beach, two at Sunset Beach and nine along Panorama Road at the west lake entrance.
